CHIJ Toa Payoh Key Club

CHIJ Toa Payoh Key Club is school-based and was set up in 2004 under the guidance of a Kiwanis Adviser & School Adviser with support from the Principal & Vice Principal. Over the years, the Key Club members comprising of secondary students, had planned and carried out various community projects to bring joy & care to the elders at the Missionary of Charity Gift of Love Home and children in various circumstances like the Canossaville Childrens’ Home

One of the 1st project undertaken & participated by the Club & other students of CHIJ is the launch of a musical “The Whizz Musical” an adaptation of The Wizard of Oz. The musical performance ran for 2 nights at the Victoria Theatre to full house nightly and the student actors gave a 1st class performance notwithstanding their raw talent and passion.

On an annual basis, all student members campaign for positions in the General Committee to show their passion to serve as leaders.Here is the General Committee 2013 with the Kiwanis Advisers , Lam Siok Loon & Teng Cheng Chong.

North Vista Key Club (SMILES)

The setting up of the Key Club at North Vista Secondary was initiated in Feb 2013 by Kiwanis Singapore with the support of the school. The Committee members were elected on the 14 March 2013 under the guidance of Kiwanis Advisers, Ms Koh Mui Cheng and Ms. Fong Sook Yee.

The official Installation of the Committee members and the club was held on July 19, 2013 in school and the Key Club was officially chartered on 30 July 2013 by Key Club International

The Key Club has embarked on a few community projects like Appreciation Day for non-academic staff in school, raising funds for an animal shelter and Appreciation Day for teachers.
